THE GAME
Red Dead Redemption is an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego, released on May 18, 2010 for platforms PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is considered a spiritual successor to the 2004 game Red Dead Revolver.
Red Dead Redemption features three fictitious regions: New Austin, West Elizabeth and Nuevo Paraiso. All of them are located within the boundary between the United States and Mexico in 1911, the decline of the Old West and cowboy archetypes and outs-of-law that formed, caused by technological change and industrial, with the introduction of railways as an example page.
Most of the game's plot is based on the year 1911, during the decline of the American Old West. The game tells the story of John Marston, a former criminal as he starts the game by former members of his former gang. The Marston's wife and son are kidnapped by the government as a way to acquire his services as a bounty hunter, promising the release of his family after the end of their service. With no other option, it starts the search of his former three companions to bring them to justice.
Along with the sheriff of Armadillo Marshal Leigh Johnson and his men, the quack doctor Nigel West Dickens, Seth Briars and the gravedigger Irish drunk, Marston uses a strategy based on the Trojan horse, idea of the West Dickens to enter the fort. Marston, the sheriff and the police come and massacre Williamson's gang, only to find that Williamson has fled to Mexico in search of help from Javier Escuella, another member of the old gang of Marston. Irish Marston offers to take to Mexico across the river from the border. Along the way, Irish and Marston are Mexican bandits and eventually kill them all, thus coming to the country.
In Mexico, Marston worked with Colonel Agustin Allende and Captain Vincent De Santa, members of the Mexican army, and the revolutionaries led by Abraham Reyes. Allende promises to deliver the Marston Escuella and Williamson, but betrays him and orders him to perform the Santa Marston to work with the revolutionaries and soldiers shoot Allende along with the sage and inspiration gunman childhood Landon Ricketts. After escaping execution, Marston joins the rebels, which help to kill Santa and fortunately find Escuella. After the capture of the murderer Escuella, Marston again joins Reyes and his men for an attack in the town of Allende, motivated not only by the chance of murdering Allende and Williamson, but also in the death of her friend Luisa Fortuna rebel, killed when she tries Save Reyes. Reyes won control of municipalities around the town and vows to march to the capital with his rebel army. Marston, meanwhile, returns to the town of Blackwater to meet his contact with the government, Ross Edgar.
To his dismay, Ross does not allow Marston return to his family until the Dutch van der Linde, who left to hide, to be captured. As Dutch and his men wage war with the U.S. Army in the area, Marston has several chases Dutch, in which he manages to escape capture. Marston then joins Ross and a group of U.S. Army soldiers in an attack on the hideout of Dutch. Marston follows the criminals to their base, confronting Dutch on a cliff. Dutch, in the end, decides to commit suicide, falling from cliff to his death. Before jumping, however, Dutch Marston warns that the government will always find another "monster" to justify their actions.
Marston is released from its agreement with the government, and returns to his family at the ranch. After some time trying to get the farm back to prosper, Marston is forced to repel the army when Ross betrays him by leading a raid on the property and killing Marston's uncle, Uncle. Marston manages to make Abigail and Jack escape safely, but it is executed by soldiers after sacrificing himself to allow his family has time to escape. Jack and Abigail return to the ranch after hearing the shots and found John dead and with no soldiers around.
The game then advances to the year 1914. An older Jack is seen near the graves of his parents (his mother having died presumably for reasons not disclosed). He then begins a search for Edgar Ross, now retired. After receiving a tip from a government agent in Blackwater, Jack finally finds Ross hunting near the river. The two decide to fight a duel lethal to solve problems once and for all. Jack Ross kills and goes slowly, having avenged the death of his father.
"BANG,BANG"
Fighting and shooting scents are part of the game. Shootings in Red Dead Redemption is conducted through a system of third-person shooter. The player may use shelters, select a specific target, shoot without seeing the opponent and aim freely. Individual body parts can also be tagged as a way of paralyzing the enemy does not lethally, can then be roped and tied to capture living individuals. When the player shoots an opponent, the game engine automatically creates a unique movement and reaction to artificial intelligence. Adopted the series of Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption has sought a system completely changed. When committing a crime such as murder of civilians near other people, some will run to the nearest police station as witnesses. The player can bribe or kill them before they reach the station. PACKAGE EXPANSION
In the expansion Undead Nightmare, a horror element is added, with ghost towns and cemeteries that house zombies. It also adds a new single-player adventure, three new weapons, six new mounts, new game animals, and eight new multiplayer characters, and a completely new online cooperative mode called "Undead Overrun". This functions as a start mode in which survival waves zombies attack players. On October 14, 2010, Rockstar Games officially confirmed the release date for the Undead Nightmare October 26, 2010 which includes new modes "Undead Overrun" and "Land Grab", as well as eight new multiplayer character models, new missions and challenges, and other single-player single-player content. It was released on October 26, 2010.
SOME ERRORS
The game,despite having been developed for a new generation of video games with very advanced hardware (Xbox 360 and Playsation 3), yet uses archaic programming techniques including pointing desleixos programmers obvious when the player finds many "bugs"* during game situations clearly could have been eliminated with a more thorough method of programming. Examples of "bugs" are characters that come out of the platform base scenario,horses that say,women can assembled and horseback ridind an other characters behaving like animals.

Combate e tiroteio são partes essencias do jogo. Tiroteios em Red Dead Redemption são conduzidos por meio de um sistema de tiro em terceira pessoa. O jogador pode utilizar abrigos, marcar um alvo específico, atirar sem ver o oponente e mirar livremente. Partes individuais do corpo também podem ser marcadas como uma forma de paralisar o inimigo não letalmente, podendo então ser laçado e amarrado para capturar indivíduos vivos. Quando o jogador atira em um oponente, o motor do jogo automaticamente cria um movimento e reação únicos para a inteligência artificial. John Marston pode escolher entre as mais diversas armas, incluindo revólveres, pistolas, alavancas ou rifles de ação rápida, facas, explosivos, laços,armas de montaria, shotguns, rifles sniper e canhões.
Uma característica de combate que pode ser utilizada por Marston é o modo de mira "Dead-Eye" (Olho Morto). O "Dead-Eye" é utilizado como forma de deixar o tempo ainda mais lento, permitindo ao jogador marcar um tiro preciso no corpo de um ou mais alvos. Quando a sequência de tiro acaba, Marston irá atirar em uma sucessão incrivelmente rápida nos alvos marcados.
Adotado das séries de Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption tem um sistema de procurado completamente modificado. Quando cometendo um crime, como assassinato de civis perto de outras pessoas, alguns irão correr para a estação de polícia mais próxima como testemunhas. O jogador pode subornar ou matá-los antes que cheguem à estação. Se o crime é cometido perto de um oficial, o medidor de procurado automaticamante aparece juntamente com uma contagem de recompensa que aumenta com mais crimes cometidos. Para fugir de executores da lei por meio de fugas, John Marston precisa sair de uma área vermelha circular até o medidor de procurado desaparecer. Na expansão Undead Nightmare, um elemento de terror é adicionado, com cidades fantasma e cemitérios que abrigam zumbis. Também adiciona uma nova aventura single-player, três novas armas, seis novas montarias, novos animais para caça, e oito novos personagens multiplayer, além de um modo cooperativo online completamente novo chamado de "Undead Overrun". Essa partida funciona como um modo de sobrevivência em que ondas de zumbis atacam os jogadores. Em 14 de outubro de 2010, a Rockstar Games oficialmente confirmou a data de lançamento de Undead Nightmare para 26 de outubro de 2010 que incluí os novos modos "Undead Overrun" e "Land Grab", assim como oito novos modelos de personagens multiplayer, novas missões e desafios single-player e outros conteúdos single-player. ALGUNS ERROS
O Jogo, apesar de ter sido desenvolvido para uma nova geração de videogames com hardware muito avançado (Xbox 360 e Playstation 3), ainda utiliza arcaicas técnicas de programação inclusive apontando óbvios desleixos dos programadores quando o jogador encontra diversos bugs durante o jogo, situações que claramente poderiam ter sido eliminadas com um método de programação mais meticuloso. Exemplos de bugs são personagens que saem da plataforma base do cenário, cavalos que falam mulheres que podem ser montadas e cavalgadas e outros personagens se comportando como animais.
